(We see Rouge the bat spying on the museum and she sneaks into the museum)
Guard #1: Anybody hungry? (Sees Rouge) What the?!
Guard #2: What's going on?
Guard #3: What's wrong?
Guard #1: How can anyone get in here?
(Rouge then kick slices the glass and takes the gem)
Rouge: Hello gorgeous.
Guard #1: We'll lock the whole place! (Activates the security system)
(The G.U.N department arrives but they found a card that says "Thank You")
(Back with Rouge)
Rouge: You might not be a Chaos Emerald, but you'll do.. For now.
(The theme song plays)
[The scene shifts to the garage of the Thorndyke Mansion with Scarlet Garcia broadcasting news.]
Twilight Sparkle: (arrives in the garage, seeing Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Cream & Cheese) Morning everypony & everyone.
Applejack: Mornin' Twilight.
Rainbow Dash: Have you seen the news?
Twilight Sparkle: The news? Are those bad guys back for more?
Rarity: No, but somehow this is THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!
Twilight Sparkle: I'm ready to help for any challenge. What's the problem?
Rarity: The world's largest diamond is stolen. I simply marvel the rare diamond of that size
Twilight Sparkle: (now confused) Huh?
Pinkie Pie: (eating popcorn) This would be the most interesting news we've ever seen. Popcorn?
Owen & Gobba: (enters as well) Did someone say popcorn?
Owen: Jinx!
Gobba: Aw man!
Scarlet: I'm coming to you live from the National Museum where officials say that the world's largest diamond was stolen late last night.
Twilight Sparkle: (was surprised) ?
Scarlet: Long-enforced authorities are baffled by the outbreak of precious gem robberies but private sources tell SSTV that they believe that this was merely the biggest in a series of jewel thefts that have plagued Station Square in recent days.
Fluttershy: Oh my.
Amy: Sonic?
Scarlet: This is Scarlet Garcia, SSTV News.
Amy: (arrives in the garage, holding a pizza on a plate) Hey Cream, have you & the others seen Sonic?
Cream: The last time we saw him he was with Chris and Tails but I'm not sure where they went.
Cheese: Chao
Amy: That's too bad.
Rarity: Not only that, the world's largest diamond is stolen. Who would dare such to do such a robbery?
Amy: Hey, feel like having some pizza?
Gobba: Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Pizza! (licking his lips)
Owen: I love pizza!
Cream: Yes! Are you sure it's okay?
Amy: You bet it is! Sonic's loss is your gain!
Cream, Cheese & Pinkie Pie: (beamed with excitement & cheers)
Owen & Gobba: Dibs on the first slice!
Gobba: Jinx!
Owen: Aw man.
Twilight Sparkle: (was still wondering about the World's Largest Diamond been stolen) Hmm...
[The scene shifts to Flurr, Mesmo & the X Tornado flying overhead of the city. Sonic is spinning a ball on his finger.]
SpongeBob: Wow, what a view! Isn't this great, Patrick?
Patrick: Wow, everything looks so tiny from down here.
Chris: Tails, see anything down there?
Tails: No. [Tails steers the X Tornado, causing Sonic to fall off.] Nothing there.
Chris: Don't worry, we're gonna find those emeralds. And Sonic will help, right? [Chris turns around and realizes that Sonic has disappeared.] Uh... Sonic... uh wh-where are you?
[Sonic is seen barely holding on to the X Tornado with the ball.]
Flurr: Hey Sonic, what are doing down here?
Mesmo: Shouldn't you be fasten your seat belt or something?
[The scene shifts into the White House.]
President: Something has to be done, gentlemen. We must take action, Eggman and Plankton are a threat to our nation security. We've no choice but to launch an attack.
Chairman: Mr. President, I want to stop this Eggman and this Plankton as much as you do but it's not so simple.
Chairman advisor: I'm afraid the chairman is right, sir. After examining the remnants of one of Eggman and Plankton's robots, we've determined that their technical capabilities and military hardware far surpass our current weapon system.
Jerome: That may be so, but it doesn't change the fact that something must be done.
Advisor: Would you consider asking Sonic and his spongy friend to assist in this mission?
President: Sonic and SpongeBob?
Advisor: Plankton and Eggman are unusual enemies, sir, and this calls for unusual allies. With this in mind, sir, I think Sonic and the sponge have got what it takes to get the best of it. They just might be the only hope we have, Mr. President.
President: That's true, but how do we even communicate with a hedgehog & a sponge?
Advisor: Our operatives have observed speaking with the young boy they're staying with. He understands the language.
President: Fine, then we'll do it.
Advisor: Sir, I think you've made the right decision.
[The scene shifts over to Chris' elementary school.]
Frances: Hey, I bet that that's that Chaos Emerald you and Sonic have been trying to find, Chris!
Chris: Kind of.
Danny: It looks like that?
Mr. Stewart: Let's keep the chatting to a minimum and focus on the painting.
Chris and Danny: Ah, right.
[Chris and Danny return to painting their pictures while Mr. Stewart takes notice of Chris' painting.]
Mr. Stewart: What's that you're painting, Chris?
Chris: Err... An emerald.
Mr. Stewart: But I thought all emeralds are supposed to be green.
Chris: Uh, I think you're right. I'll just start over.
Mr. Stewart: No, Chris. Your emerald can be in any color you wanted it to be. Matter of fact, I heard a red emerald was found somewhere recently in around Silky Heights.
Chris: Whaaa?! [Chris stands up and some kids turn to him.] Ah, sorry...
Mr. Stewart: In fact, if I'm not mistaken, they found that emerald in an old dilapidated factory not too long ago.
[Rouge is seen hiding, listening to what Mr. Stewart has just said.]
Rouge: Hm, who knows what interesting little tippets you can pick up if you hang around long enough!
[Rouge hides back. Later on, the school bell rings. Chris bursts out of the school doors while Danny follows.]
Danny: Hey, Chris! Wait for me! [Mr. Stewart watches the two running from his classroom and smiles while drinking his cup of drink. The scene shifts into the Thorndyke Mansion's garage.] Hi, I'm Danny. Nice to meet you.
Amy: Hi there, I'm Amy. This is my friend, Tails.
Tails: Hi.
Danny: Hey.
[SpongeBob is then seen with Owen and Gobba trying to pull Patrick out of the vacuum bag.]
SpongeBob: I'm SpongeBob SquarePants, this is Owen, Gobba, and in this bag is my best friend Patrick Star.
Danny: Nice to meet you all.
Chris: Uh, where's Sonic?
Tails: He left already, and it's about time I head out, too. [The X Tornado prepares for take-off.] Let's take off!
[Sonic zooms around the city stopping in front of a sign in a junction. The sign points "Factory" is located towards the right of the junction.]
Sonic: That way.. Huh?
[The X Tornado flies by.]
Danny: Alright! Yeah, this is the coolest thing ever!
Chris: Okay, cool it. Will you, Danny?
Amy: Look! There's Sonic!
[Sonic is seen waving at the X Tornado before zooming off.]
SpongeBob: He's heading to the right!
Flain: Then let's go right.
[The X Tornado follows him, creating a breeze that shakes the sign off.]
Rouge: [Emerging from the bushes.] Hah! They fell for it! (flies for sometime)
(The Mane 6 are seen walking down on the path)
Applejack: Are you sure about this, Twilight?
Twilight Sparkle: It's ok, Rainbow Dash is our eye in the sky.
Rainbow Dash: And I've noticed that a strange looking bat girl is heading in this direction.
Rarity: Do you think she's the one that stole the diamond?
Twilight Sparkle: We're about to find out. (notices the post, without a sign) That's strange. There's no arrow pointing anywhere.
Fluttershy: Which way do we go?
Rainbow Dash: (flies up & notices Rouge) There she is! She went down the left path.
Twilight Sparkle: Then let's go left.
(The Mane 6 gallops to the left path)
Rouge: [flies for sometime until she arrives at the factory and lands outside it.] That's it! Now... see if I can find another emerald. [Rouge enters in the warehouse]
(The Mane 6 arrives at the warehouse)
Rainbow Dash: Come on! She went in there!
Twilight Sparkle: Ok girls. We're gonna get answers from this bat girl. Remember, we have to be really quiet. Now don't get spooked and all loud yelling.
Pinkie Pie: My yelling is not loud!
Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy & Rarity: Shhh...
Pinkie Pie: Oh (giggles) Sorry. (pretends to zip her lips)
(The Mane 6 enter inside the warehouse as well, quietly & carefully.)
Rainbow Dash: There she is.
[Rouge searches around until she sees a shining bead and proceeds to pick it up.]
Rouge: Well, what's this? [Lights suddenly flash at Rouge. G.U.N soldiers are seen pointing guns at Rouge.] My, my... Trying to trap me?
Topaz: Don't make a move!
Rouge: Whatever you like.
[The Mane 6 then arrive]
Twilight Sparkle: You're under arrest, bat!
[Topaz starts walking up to Rouge with handcuffs]
Rouge: You know, you're pretty tough for an old lady!
[The G.U.N soldiers burst in laughter. Topaz blushes.]
Topaz: What are you clowns laughing at?! Commander!
Commander: Huh? [Coughs]
[The Mane 6 except Twilight Sparkle is still laughing]
Twilight Sparkle: Girls!
[The Mane 6 then stop laughing]
Rouge: I'm not going anywhere. Matter of fact, I like being in the spotlight!
Commander: Forget the cuffs! [Walks towards Rouge and Topaz] What's your name?
Rouge: I'm Rouge, that's Rouge the Bat.
Commander: Hey, I've seen you somewhere before. That's right! You're the one who snuck into the National Museum and stole that diamond, aren't you?
Rouge: Who me?
Commander: We set up a trap to catch Sonic and the talking sponge and look who do we wind up with a jewel thief. Funny how things work out that way!
Applejack: Stand aside, I'll handle her.
Commander: And who are you suppose to be?
Applejack: Name's Applejack.
Topaz: Like the cereal.
Applejack: Watch it, girl. As I was saying, I know the perfect place for her.
[Scene shifts to Sonic running along the road at sunset while the X Tornado follows him.]
Danny: Man, I'm starving...
Chris: Me too!
SpongeBob: See anything?
Eddy: No, nothing. Where can that Red Chaos Emerald be?
Edd: Let us hope the others, like Twilight Sparkle & her 5 friends are having better luck than we do.
Vezok: Seriously, I'm starving! I get kinda crazy when I'm hungry. And believe me, you wouldn't like me when I'm hungry.
Rigby: I'm scared right now.
[Scene shifts into the White House.]
Applejack: I just don't get it, why wouldn't they agree with my idea?
Pinkie Pie: Maybe you're not as smart as Rouge.
Applejack: Hey! Who's side are you on?!
Rouge: Boy, I could really go for a cup of coffee.
Topaz: What?! Listen, missy! This isn't a country club. You're in deep trouble.
Rouge: Yeah yeah, I know, so I've heard, but all I want is a cup of coffee. Don't be such a nag!
Topaz: A what?! A nag, huh?!
Commander: Hey, get her a coffee, Topaz!
Topaz: Hmph, aye aye! [Topaz walks over to the coffee set and prepares a cup of coffee.] She doesn't deserve it if you ask me!
Rouge: My, my, Topaz eh? Isn't that the name of a gem?
[The office door opens; the President, his advisor and Jerome Wise enters in. Topaz turns around and accidentally pours coffee on her hands, causing her to knock the cup of coffee.]
President: Case of dinginess, Topaz?
Topaz: I'm-I'm sorry, Mr. President, sir...
Jerome: So, you're Rouge.
Rouge: Hi!
Jerome: Well, Rouge, I imagine that you must be wondering why we brought you here today.
Rouge: Uh-huh.
Jerome: And I see that these talking horses have come to assist us.
Rarity: That's right, sir. And FYI: We're ponies.
Advisor: Listen, girls. We'd like to make a deal.
Rouge: A deal, Huh?
President: We are willing to offer you a complete immunity of your crimes. That is, if you decide to join our team.
Rouge: Join your team? As what?
Advisor: You'll work as an undercover agent, as well as the ponies, for the President.
Rouge: Wow! Imagine me, a real-life secret agent! Tell me, why would you want a naughty little jewel thief like me on your team?
President: That is none of your business, young lady! Do we have a deal?
Rouge: Umm.. (Who knows, working as an agent, I might get closer to the Chaos Emeralds!) Mr. Pres, you got yourself a deal!
President: Well, ponies? Are you all in as well?
Rainbow Dash: You bet, we are!
President: Congratulations, agents! Welcome aboard.
[The President proceeds to shake hands with Rouge and the Mane 6.]
Rouge: [Chuckles] Err, does this mean I don't get to keep my diamond?
President: Uh, oh right. Well, what do you think?
Jerome: Well, the case is still considered unsolved, as long as you promise not to talk.
President: There you have it.
[Rouge smiles. The scene shifts back to the junction where the sign is. Sonic picks up the sign and looks towards the left.]
Sonic: Looks like I'll have to take my chances.
[Sonic zooms off towards the left while the X Tornado follows.]
Xplode: (in communicator) This is Xplode, over.
SpongeBob: (picks up the communicator & answers it) Yes Xplode? Over.
Xplode: We have no word on the 6 ponies. Something terrible might've happen to them.
SpongeBob: I think your right. We need to find them, but where can they be?
Meltdown: (in communicator) How should I know, I can't see them or Schnitzel.
Mung: Wait, where's Schnitzel?
Meltdown: He is talking in a language than none of us are understanding.
Chowder: That's because he always says "Rada".
Corroder: (in communicator) And your telling us now?!
Mung: I said I was sorry. Beside Schnitzel says that he is lost in the forest.
Corroder: Great. We'll find him, over.
(With the Hero Factory Villains)
(They are in the forest, finding Schnitzel)
Rotor: There he is. Hi Schnitzel.
Schnitzel: Rada Rada? Rada rada rada
Drilldozer: What is he saying now?
Jetbug: If only Chowder and/or Mung can understand him better than we do.
Rotor: We're here to find you.
Nitroblast: Wait a minute, how did you know what Schnitzel is saying?
Rotor: Mung Daal told me about Schnitzel's language & now, thanks to him, I completely understand him.
Xplode: (notices a card on Schnitzel's back) What's that?
Schnitzel: Rada? (pulls the card out from his back & reads it)
(It appears to be the same card from the museum.)
Schnitzel: Uh? Rada Ra?
Thunder: (notices a giant plane) Plane!
Meltdown: Thunder? How long are we gonna listen to your fantasy story?
Thunder: No really, look. A giant plane!
(The rest also notice this, but Schnitzel also spots something inside the plane, which are Rouge & the Mane 6 are inside the plane.)
Schnitzel: (now in complete shock) RADA RADA! (runs off after the plane on foot, through the bushes)
Rotor: Wait, where are you going?
Xplode: Great. Rotor, you are going after him & bring him back before he gets hurt.
Rotor: Okie dokie. (flies off, staying low below the forest, after Schnitzel) Schnitzel, come back!
Xplode: This does not bode well. Wait until SpongeBob & the others hear this. (begins contacting SpongeBob through the communicator)
[The scene shifts to an evening flight where Rouge and the G.U.N soldiers.]
[Topaz attaches a yellow object to Rouge's wrist.]
Rouge: What's this thing?
Commander: That is a bomb.
Rouge: A bomb?!
Commander: If we push this remote control here, it's bye bye batty. See, we don't exactly trust you so maybe you'd be a good little girl and maybe we won't have to use it.
Rouge: Hmph!
Topaz: Just think of it as a little bracelet.
Rouge: A bracelet that explodes?!
Topaz: It's supposed to be functional, not fashionable!
Rouge: Looks like something an old lady would wear! Why don't you try it on?
Topaz: [Blushes] What does that mean?!
Rouge: Just what you are thinking, just-grandma!
Commander: Ladies, please!
Pilot: Approaching drop point, Commander! Straight ahead!
Commander: Yep! Roger! Get ready!
[Rouge, Topaz, Commander and the two G.U.N. soldiers drop from the plane, opening out their parachutes to land safely on the island.] [The scene shifts to the factory, where Sonic, Tails, Amy, Chris and Danny arrive at.]
Amy: Hmm... what is this place? It gives me the creeps. Well, now what? There's nothing here.
Tails: Something seems strange here, Sonic. Who would've moved that sign?
Sonic: Beats me.
[Scene changes back to Eggman's & Plankton's lair)
[Topaz and the G.U.N soldiers follow Rouge towards the edge of a cliff. A rope drops down and Rouge gives the thumbs-up signal while Topaz does the same. The scene shifts inside where Rouge, Topaz, the Mane 6, the Commander and the G.U.N soldiers are sprinting around the fortress corridors.]
Rouge: This way!
[The Commander grabs Rouge's hand]
Commander: Hold on, where are you going?
Rouge: Don't be so jumpy! You want me to help out or don't you?
Commander: No funny stuff!
Rouge: I'm on your team now!
Commander: Alright, just checking! [The Commander presses a button on his device, revealing a map of the fortress.] Okay, let's move in! [Everyone continues on moving around the fortress. Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman and Plankton lies asleep.] We don't have much farther! Now, if we could just find the power output sector.
Topaz: Any idea where that might be?
Rouge: I guess I must've left my map at home!
Applejack: Not funny.
Topaz: Well, it's almost dawn. What do you think we should do, Commander?
Commander: We don't have much time, let's keep looking!
[Topaz, Commander, the Mane 6 and the G.U.N soldiers proceed on but Rouge looks ahead in another corridor.]
Rouge: Commander. Mind if I have myself a look around?
Commander: Are you kidding? How do I know I can trust you?
Rouge: You can! I'll be right back!
Topaz: I'll go with her just in case.
Twilight Sparkle: We're coming as well.
Rouge: Whatever...
Commander: Alright then. [Passes Topaz the device and the remote.] Remember, don't do anything reckless!
Topaz: Yes sir!
Rouge: Aye aye! [Topaz frowns at Rouge. The G.U.N soldiers and the Commander exit out of the base while Rouge, the Mane 6 and Topaz continue on. They see a particular door.] This could get messy, especially for an old gal like you! [Rouge delivers several kicks to the door, busting it open. They look around and see a machine containing the cyan-colored Chaos Emerald.] My, my... Well hello! It's beautiful!
[Tikimon then wakes up and starts to move and a door opens and a robot, E-70 Noizi is seen]
Tikimon The Totem Gods
[Topaz and the Mane 6 walks towards Rouge]
Topaz: I have the strangest feeling that we're being watched.
Applejack: She's right, so all you girls keep your eyes open.
[A robot claw suddenly appears and grabs Topaz and 2 tiki hands appears and grabs Pinkie Pie and Rarity Rouge then turns around and sees a third tiki fist coming towards her but Rouge avoids it]
Topaz: Please, help us Rouge!
Rouge: Hang in girls!
Applejack: We're coming!
[Rouge swoops down. A speaker emerges from Noizi while Rouge channels her attack into a Screw Kick, Noizi emits a loud alarm and Tikimon lets out a loud roar giving Rouge, Topaz, the Mane 6, The Commander and the G.U.N soldiers earaches from the noises]
Commander: What is that?!
[Back inside, Plankton and Dr. Eggman suddenly wake up and fall out of their chairs]
Plankton: My ears!
Dr. Eggman: It must be... Intruders!
[The scene shifts to Rouge as she falls to her knees as the alarm and roar continues.]
Rouge: That sound and that roar... It hurts my ears!
[Tikimon then breathes in and lets out a even more louder roar and Noizi rotates one of its pegs, releasing out a louder alarm. Rouge screams in pain as she tries to cover her ears]
Topaz: I can't take it!
Pinkie Pie: Help us please!
[Scene shifts to Dr. Eggman and Plankton.]
Dr. Eggman: Those noises are coming from Noizi and Tikimon!
Plankton: Someone's trying to make off with our Chaos Emerald, and we can't have that now, can we?
Dr. Eggman: Go get them, Sneezer! [Presses the number 14 button]
Plankton: Same thing with you, tiki slaves! [Presses the button on his remote]
Dr. Eggman: GAH! Blast those infernal voices! [A section of the floor beneath Eggman and Plankton lowers itself with Plankton Eggman.]
[Scene shifts to Rouge, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy.]
Rouge: I'll go and save! Huh?!
[E-13 Guardbot, E-12 Behemoth, Sneezer, and the tiki minions enters in the room where Rouge, Topaz, the Mane 6, Tikimon and Noizi are at. The tiki minions, Guardbot and Sneezer attack Rouge, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Twilight Sparkle(the loud roar and alarm subsides) but they avoid them, causing the attacks to damage the room itself.]
Rarity: Rouge!
Topaz: [The attacks reveal a room beneath the floor and sees the generator.] The power generator!
[Rouge performs her Screw Kick at Noizi and Tikimon but Noizi turns its peg and releases its loud alarm again and Tikimon breathes in and release his loud roar again causing Rouge to scream in pain and fall to the ground due to the pain. Noizi tilts back and forth in place while Topaz screams and Tikimon laughs and slams his fists together while Pinkie Pie and Rarity screams. Rouge gets up.]
Rouge: I've had enough of this! [Tikimon then shoots lasers from his eyes at Rouge who avoids by back-flipping. His lasers then hits Sneezer and then Sneezer launches two missiles at Behemoth and the glass case containing the emerald.] Ah! Oh no! I've lost the Chaos Emerald! [Tikimon lets out his roar again and Noizi emits the alarm causing Rouge to scream in pain.] Alright, you're fooling around the wrong girl! [Rouge looks at her bomb bracelet, breaks it from her. Tikimon attacks Rouge with his lasers again but she dodges it, flies up and tosses the bracelet into Tikimon's mouth who tries to cough it out]
Applejack: Pinkie! Give me your cannon!
[Pinkie manages to get her hooves free and she gives Applejack her cannon who then shoots a cannonball into Noizi's speaker, the cannonball then explodes causing Noizi to tilt side to side, Topaz is dropped to the floor]
Rouge: Push that button!
[Topaz proceeds to grab the remote and successfully presses the button causing the bomb in Tikimon's mouth to detonate, destroying his head, freeing Pinkie Pie and Rarity, Meanwhile Eggman and Plankton is running through the corridors of the base. Rouge delivers a Screw Kick and pierces through Tikimon's body and Noizi and then she grabs Topaz and flies off as the Mane 6 follows.]
Rouge: Hang on tight! [She flies towards Plankton and Eggman.] Move it!
Dr. Eggman: Excuse us... Who are they? Oh...
[Plankton and Eggman scream as Tikimon and Noizi explodes in flames. The flames burst through the corridor and out of the base but Rouge, Topaz and the Mane 6 escape safely. The Commander and the G.U.N soldiers look up at them.]
Topaz: Rouge, I don't know how to thank you.
Rouge: I do. Lose some weight.
(We can see that Dr. Eggman & Plankton are both charred from the explosion)
Dr. Eggman: Help... mommy...
Plankton: Don't worry, mama will fix it.
(With SpongeBob & his friends)
(They heard an explosion as they turn to Eggman's base)
Owen: What was that?
SpongeBob: That's we're gonna find out. Let's go!
(The gang hurries over & spots the Mane 6 emerging from the bushes)
Reidak: Ponies, what happened?
Twilight Sparkle: You know, out on a night mission. No big deal, really.
Schnitzel: Uh, Rada rada?
Rotor: It's ok Schnitzel, the important thing is that the ponies are back & we can head back home, safe & sound.
Edd: That is correct.
Krader: Yeah, let's go home together.
(As the gang heads back to the Thorndyke Mansion, the Mane 6 give Rouge & Topaz, who we're hiding in the bushes, a wink.)
[Scene shifts to Chris' elementary school. Chris and Danny are seen sleeping.]
Mr. Stewart: Uh, Chris, Danny...
[Mr. Stewart shakes their bodies. Chris and Danny suddenly wake up. Some of the kids turned to look at them.]
Chris and Danny: Uh, we're sorry...
Mr. Stewart: Now Chris, I get the feeling that you and Danny didn't get enough sleep, last night. It's okay to have adventures, just make sure to get to bed on time.
Chris: Huh? How did you know, sir?
Mr. Stewart: Just a wild guess...
Chris and Danny: Thanks, Mr. Stewart. [Laughs.]
